White Pass Scenic Byways

For many visitors, from within the region or around the world, the White Pass Byway is a route for exploring Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens and Mt. Adams. For those in the know - either canny locals or niche recreationists from around the country - there are amazing recreational opportunities all along the byway, in every season. The White Pass Scenic Byway website is a guide to all the area has to offer.


Mineral Lake Lodge

Built in 1906, the historic Mineral Lake Lodge offers guest rooms, relaxation services, complimentary breakfast beverages and muffins, and a dock on Mineral Lake that will accommodate your boat.

Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad

This historic scenic railroad leaves from the depot and gift shop in Elbe, Washington, and offers trips that include barbecue trains, the 2nd Rail to Ales and the Santa Express. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park

A great family experience, with a tram tour, a walking tour, and many other experiences. Visit their website for days/hours, pricing, and special events that you don't want to miss.

Spirits of Iron Sculpture Park

Between Elbe and Ashford, Dan Klennert's Spirits of Iron Sculpture Park features bizarre, bold and delightful recycled metal sculptures.
